What is Draftable and how does it work? Draftable is an online tool that allows users to compare two files by uploading a base file and a newer file. The tool highlights changes between the two documents, displaying them side-by-side. Deleted text is highlighted in red, inserted text is highlighted in green, and replaced text is shown as a combination of inserted and deleted text. The tool offers a sync scrolling feature for a better user experience, which can be disabled if desired. Even if the tool is unsure about a change, it will still highlight it for the user to make a final decision. Draftable does not analyze images containing text, but users can use Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to generate a text layer that can be read by Draftable. There is a file size limit of 300 pages or 10 MB. Users can access Draftable on their desktops or integrate its comparison technologies into their own app.
