What is CloudSkew and how does it function? CloudSkew is an online tool for creating cloud architecture diagrams at no cost. It includes a variety of icons for platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Alibaba Cloud, and Oracle Cloud. Diagrams are securely saved in the cloud, and there is also a document editor for annotating and documenting diagrams. Users can print, export, and share diagrams using various formats and methods. The full range of features and capabilities of CloudSkew is currently in public preview. CloudSkew is built using multiple Azure services, and its front-end consists of two web apps. The landing page is a static VuePress site written in Markdown, and the diagram editor is a TypeScript-based Angular 8 SPA. Users can log in using their GitHub or LinkedIn accounts, and the app relies on a CDN for static assets while utilizing back-end web APIs for dynamic content.
