What is Proficonf and how does it function? Proficonf allows users to easily set up high-definition video and audio conference calls directly through a web browser. Upon registering, users are required to create a virtual room and then share the corresponding link with their guests. Guests can simply click on the link to join the conference calls. The platform allows for up to 250 participants to be added to a single conference call, and users have control options such as bringing participants to the stage, blocking or muting cameras and microphones, restricting chat, and more. Users can also request that guests contribute and send instant requests to enable microphones and cameras. Different guest roles, such as host, moderator, speaker, and participant, can be assigned. Proficonf incorporates adaptive video conferencing technology, which ensures smooth connections even with low bandwidth; it has been tested on speeds as low as 256 kB/s. The tool also allows for conference calls to be recorded, and users can share their screens as well as various types of files, including presentations, videos, and audio, during the conference. Data security is maintained through the use of the TSL protocol.
