What is the function of Google Cloud Debugger and how does it operate? Within Google Cloud, there exists a feature known as Cloud Debugger which enables the examination of an application’s state at any specific code location, without impeding or reducing the speed of the running application. This platform simplifies the process of observing the state of an application without the need to include logging statements. The Cloud Debugger can be utilized with any deployment of the application, be it for testing, development, or production purposes. Once the application has been deployed, the Cloud Debugger can be accessed through the Google Cloud console. This debugger grants the ability to capture and examine the call stack and local variables within the application without causing any interruptions or slowdowns. It is worth noting that the Debugger can be employed both with or without access to the source code of the application. In cases where the source code is not accessible, instructions on manually entering the file name and line number can be found under the option “Take a debug snapshot”. The debugger can be set up with various programming languages including Java, Python, Go, Node.js, Ruby, PHP, and .NET Core.
